In 1967, Father Willy Romulus requested the help of the Good Shepherd Sisters in his parish of Latibolière, located in the region of Grande-Anse. In October 1969, three sisters arrived on Haitian land, and the Congregation settled in the mornes (small mountains). |

Today, the Good Shepherd Sisters strive to remain faithful to their charism of love and goodness among the poor. In the parishes of Roseaux and Carrefour-Sanon, they are in charge of primary schools and are involved in the pastoral ministry through sacramental initiation. In Jérémie, a sister nurse works in community health. Moreover, the house in Jérémie is always a place of hospitality for sisters and other travelers going to more distant places. |
